Alfred Spaziano

Alfred Spaziano passed away on Sunday, August 30th, 2015, at the age of 94.

Spaziano, Alfred V. 94, formally of Park St. North Providence died peacefully at Elmhurst Extended Care in Providence on Sunday August 30th.
He was the husband of the late Sarah (Roberts) Spaziano. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Antonio and Angelina (Lepore) Spaziano. He proudly served in the Army during WW II. He was a catcher for the Cincinnati Reds Minor League Division during his eight year baseball career retiring in 1953. He was an electrician with IBEW Local 99 becoming a longtime business manager from which he retired after many years. He was an avid New York Yankees fan, much to the dismay of his late wife, and avid Red Sox fan. He was a Communicant of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in North Providence, RI.
He leaves behind a daughter Patricia Petrarca and her husband Lawrence, his grandchildren Bethany (Robert) Small, Jason Robert, Christopher Robert, Corey Harrison, and Scott Harrison, his great grandchildren Faith, Savannah-Grace, Isabella Robert, and Carissa Harrison. He was the brother of Lottie Iacobucci and her husband Artie, the uncle to Amelia Jestings, Maria Woodruff, and Darlene Guerin.
He was the father of the late Wallace Harrison and the brother of the late Mary, Amelia, and Nicolas Spaziano.
