Brother Bob Shalvey

Robert E. Shalvey, Jr. a retired Electrician passed away from Huntington’s Disease at his home the evening of Tuesday, May 19, 2026, with his wife and 3 sons by his side. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Haggerty) Shalvey with whom he shared nearly 50 years of marriage. Born in Providence, he was the oldest of nine children born to the late Robert E. Shalvey, Sr. and Ellen E. (Clark) Shalvey. He was the devoted father of Brian Shalvey (Miriam), Adam Shalvey (Abbigail) and Kevin Shalvey (Jennifer); cherished Grandpa of Fiona, Ismael, Connor, Noah, Marigold, Emily and Woodrow. Robert was the older brother of Carol Coppage, John Shalvey, Joseph Shalvey, Stephen Shalvey, Maureen Gray and the late Patricia Shalvey, Ellen Mary Shalvey and William Shalvey.
