Brother Eddy Graves

Brother Eddy Graves passed away on Saturday, August 8th, 2026, at the age of 77.

Edward Thurston Wilson Graves, III, 77, of West Kingston, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the loving husband of Rebecca Ann Bennett. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Edward Thurston Wilson Graves, Jr. and Helen (Stemplewski) Graves.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Jessica (D'Abrosca) O'Connor and Meghan (D'Abrosca) Emery, his sister, Jean Abraham, two stepsons, Jarrod Wasko and Jeremy Wasko, and step grandchildren, Alex and Kaitlyn Wasko. He was the step father of the late Justin Wasko, and he was the twin of his late brother Robert Benjamin Graves.

Ed was a proud Marine who served his country overseas. He enjoyed Civil War history, traveling with his wife, and was probably one of the best electricians the state of Rhode Island has ever seen. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

A funeral home service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 10:30 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St. Wakefield. Burial with military honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
