Brother Zach Grace
REHOBOTH - Our hearts are broken as we say goodbye to legendary Zachary Paul Grace who passed away on January 10, 2026 at the young age of 44. Born on May 24, 1981 in Fall River, MA, he was the son of William and Carolyn (White) Grace of Assonet, MA.
Zachary was a man who could never be missed—the loudest voice in the room, unapologetically opinionated, and undeniably larger than life. Argumentative at times, quick-witted always, he had a sharp mind and a sense of humor that kept those around him laughing. Beneath that big personality was a genuinely kind and generous soul.
He was the person people called at any hour of the night, knowing he would show up without hesitation. Helpful to everyone he encountered, he took pride in being dependable and present, especially for those he loved most—his children and his family, who were the center of his world.
An avid Angler, he found peace on the water with a rod in hand, to enjoying the simple moments life offered. He dedicated 14 years of hard work to Griff Electrics before continuing his career with the Local Union 99 IBEW, where he was respected for both his skill and work ethic.
He also had a deep love for God and Mustangs. Both a reflection of his own bold spirit—impossible to ignore and full of character. His presence filled every room, and his absence leaves an undeniable void. He will be remembered for his humor, his intelligence, his fierce loyalty, and the countless ways he showed up for others.
Along with his parents, Zachary is survived by his fiancé Bethany Chagnon; children Makayla Grace, Chance Grace, Matilda Esparza Chagnon and Landon Lima; siblings Samantha Grace, Damien Grace, Abigail Grace, Seth Grace, William Grace, Jacqueline Shupe, Valerie Griffiths, Peter Pavao; as well as many nieces, nephews, a great nephew and many friends.
Zachary’s funeral will take place at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Wednesday, January 21st at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernards Church at 10:00 AM. Interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on Tuesday January 20th from 4-8pm.
