It is a fact, Union Workers are 17% more productive than non-union workers

The simple facts are Union workers spend a great deal more time being trained for their profession than non-union. Training is the key to productivity and safety.  It only makes sense, with so much more time in training and contractors that are highly skilled in managing a project, clearly  the end result has to be a dramatic increase in productivity
