IMPORTANT


Before completing an application, read the information below regarding qualification and procedures for applying. Only by carrying out these instructions carefully and completely, can you be considered for a scholarship.
 

ELIGIBILITY
 

To be eligible, the student must be:
 A dependent of an active Journeyman or apprentice below the age of 26 years old
 Must be matriculating in a a post secondary college program
 Enrolled in a degree or certificate producing undergraduate program( Matriculating)

 A full time student, a minimum of four courses per semester plus passing grades 2.0GPA
(12 credits minimum per semester).
 Or dependent listed on tax returns of the active member

 

PROCEDURES
 

To be awarded a scholarship you must:
 Appear at the Union Hall, to receive a numbered application the student or parent may appear for an application. Applications are available anytime between 8:00 – 4:30 weekdays.
 From May 15,2017
 The completed application must be returned, in person to the Union Hall no later than June 15th, 2017. It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure the application is submitted on or before June 15th, 2017
 Submit tuition statements for the fall or Spring Semesters. Highlight actual tuition fees only on the tuition statement.
 Submit a copy of your Fall or Spring grades at the same time your application is submitted if available.
 Failure to comply on any and all of the above procedures will result in the denial of your
application.


OTHER IMPORTANT FACTS
 

The Scholarship will be paid once this year.
